7 Minutes A Day That Matter – Meditation Workshop

We are often caught in our daily life with a myriad of tasks, impressions, messages and things to do that make our lives seem like a train running on a track.

Sometimes we react with stress and agitation, and in some cases with burnout, depression, losing the joy of life, a sense of being disconnected from ourselves and having a feeling that there must be more to life – that our life could be better and more meaningful. Do we have any possibility to choose another direction? To find what really matters? And do we have what it takes to do so?

Whether we seek more happiness, certain skills, more fulfilling relationships, better health, increasing our performance at work or studies – anything we aspire for – achieving it involves dedicating conscious actions to our purpose.

The ancient yogis discovered that our life’s durable, long-lasting transformation starts with small conscious actions done every day. We often believe that to transform something requires big actions, and that often feels like an impossible mission. Yet any transformation process starts with small steps done NOW that are accessible to us, starting from where we are.

Many people are discovering that meditation is a tool that can help us bring us in harmony and balance, and get more in touch with ourselves. In reality, the path of meditation as discovered by the ancient sages is much more than that – it is a path to complete Self-discovery. It involves a very systematic approach to transformation based on persevering repetition of a small, conscious action suitable for our needs and capacity.

In this workshop, we will explore the process of transformation, insights into the state of inner balance & harmony, and how the path of meditation can be a useful and efficient tool in our daily life.

Structure
The workshop will consist of an alternation between theoretical notions and practical exercises. We will practice together various simple & efficient exercises from yoga and meditation, involving our body, our breathing and our consciousness, to give us energy, calm our mind and bring us more in touch with ourselves.

At the end of the workshop, we invite you to choose one of the exercises that feels the most relevant and inspiring for you, and commit to practicing it for 7 minutes a day for a certain period after the workshop.
