Natha on Netflix?
Invitation to a special community event.
19.30 – 22.00 Tuesday 12 December 2023 in Concordia, Iccha Hall

A small group of anticult inquisitors are working on an upcoming Netflix documentary production about controversies in our international yoga community. What is it about? Is it part of a modern-day witchhunt? Who are they? What is their approach and underlying motivation? Who does it benefit?

Considering the past experiences with partisan biased media, we can expect a scandalous documentary filled with lies and defamation against Eminent Yoga Teacher Gregorian Bivolaru and the esoteric spiritual schools belonging to the International Federation of Yoga and Meditation Atman, which is the legal body that unites schools and associations, many of whom use the courses elaborated by him as a platform for their teachings on various spiritual topics.

Join us in this special community event, where we intend to shed light on context and history around this upcoming documentary about our international yoga community as well as the most recent updates.

We will have a look at what professional researchers and experts in the field of spiritual movements and spiritual human rights actually ’say about us’, which might come as a surprise even for more experienced students in our community.

To counterbalance the malicious and libel disinformation that the anticult group attempts to promote through social media we aim to cover some of the most significant perspectives in the controversy, discussing the dynamics of dominant narrative structures, social validation and career building through anticult activities, thus promptly exposing some of the methods used in order to push their agenda.

Inviting to better navigate truth and falsehood in ’the stories you hear’ we hope at the end of the event, that you will have a better and more nuanced stand to form your own understanding and to trust even more in your own experiences within our yoga community.

We will together review the core values and principles serving as the foundation of our yoga community, as well as all the joy, gratitude, life-transforming experiences and deeply meaningful togetherness, that 99% of the people who ever took part in our events, courses and voluntary projects have expressed and continue to express.
Finally we will of course also give time for questions and sharing in relation to the topic of this community evening.

We want to take a stand for our community and actively show the sides that are usually ignored by those who do not know us as we do. We are looking forward to an important and heartfelt evening of togetherness

yours
